SafeWater Pool Systems 866-723-3928About the Installation of Safety NetsSafety nets can be installed on pools, spas, fountains or ponds. Either simple water features or those with planters, elevated decks with steps, rocks, stones, raised walls, waterfalls and slides. No matter how complex your pool, a custom net can be done. Experience is the key with safety net installation. It requires skill which can only come with years on-the-job. SafeWater's technicians are highly experienced individuals who have spent years installing the safety net.
On the day of installation, your technician will begin by first measuring and marking the entire pool area. The deck is then prepared for drilling. All drilling is done with our water-cooled coredrill utilizing our diamond-tipped corebit. The brass anchors are flush mounted into these holes which may be anywhere from 24 to 28 inches apart depending on the shape of your pool. Once the anchors are installed, the net is tightly stretched across the width and length of your pool. Our "flat" stainless steel hooks are then attached to the net. The net is then custom cut to the shape of your pool. The net perimeter is double wrapped creating a tight and secure border. Our central tensioning system is created in the center or close to the center of the net. This will enable you to tighten the net with a "one rope" easy process. You will have a choice of either the ratchet or double pulley system to tighten your net. Your installation technician will show you how it works and you can choose one or the other tightening mechanisms.

You can see how easy it is to use the net by asking the technician to show you our "How to use the net" DVD during your free estimate appointment. You can watch the video while the technician is measuring your pool. Due to the engineering technology used to develop the flat hooks, there is no tangling involved with the net. Your installation technician will review the "easy on, easy off" net process with you after his installation is completed. |

Our high quality resin roller is then installed at the side of the pool. The net can rest on the roller while the pool is in use. The roller is lightweight — just a few pounds — and it is easily removable.
